Terms of use.
Last updated May 2, 2026.
By using drivewithaddys.com you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.
What this site is
DriveWithAddys is operated by East Hills Chevrolet of Freeport (βwe,β βusβ), a New York Chevrolet dealership at 42 E Sunrise Hwy, Freeport, NY 11520. We're a licensed motor-vehicle dealer in the State of New York; our DMV facility number is on file with the state and posted in the showroom.
Inventory accuracy
We try really hard to keep inventory and pricing accurate. Prices update from our DMS multiple times per day. Errors do happen β if a vehicle is mispriced, mislabeled, or has been sold and not yet removed from the site, we'll tell you immediately and you're under no obligation to proceed.
Vehicles are subject to prior sale. The car you saw at 9am may be sold by 3pm. We're not obligated to honor a price if a third-party listing service (cars.com, Autotrader, etc.) republishes outdated information.
MSRP, manufacturer rebates, and finance offers come from the automaker and change without notice. The number on each vehicle page reflects the offers in effect at the time the page was last refreshed.
Pricing β what's included, what isn't
The price displayed on each vehicle page is the cash price for the vehicle. It does not include:
- New York state and local sales tax. Calculated on the purchase price (less qualifying trade-in) at your delivery address.
- Title and registration fees. Paid to the NY DMV.
- NY DMV fees. Including license plate fees, title certificate fee, and any applicable use tax.
- Documentation fee. A flat $295 doc fee β the same number for every customer, disclosed on the buyer's order.
- Optional add-ons. Extended service contracts, GAP, accessories β only if you choose them.
Tax, title, license, and the doc fee are itemized on the buyer's order before signing. The payment calculator shows you how the math works in advance.
Used vehicles β βas isβ and the FTC Buyer's Guide
Used vehicles are offered subject to the FTC Used Car Buyer's Guide posted on the vehicle window. The Buyer's Guide is the controlling document: it states whether the car is being sold βAs Is β No Dealer Warrantyβ or βWarranty,β and what (if anything) is covered. The Buyer's Guide overrides anything to the contrary in the website listing or in conversation.
For used vehicles sold without a written dealer warranty, you accept the vehicle in its present condition with all faults at the time of delivery, except as required by the New York Used Car Lemon Law (NY GBL Β§ 198-b) β see our Lemon Law page for details. No oral warranty. If a warranty isn't in writing on the Buyer's Guide or buyer's order, it isn't a warranty.
Some used vehicles qualify as Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) under the GM Certified program. The CPO warranty terms are governed by GM and disclosed on the vehicle page and at signing.
New vehicles β manufacturer warranty
New Chevrolet vehicles come with the standard GM New Vehicle Limited Warranty (3 years / 36,000 miles bumper-to-bumper, 5 years / 60,000 miles powertrain at the time of writing β refer to the warranty booklet in the glove box for current terms). The dealer makes no separate warranty unless given to you in writing.
Photos
Photos are for illustration. We take real photos on the lot whenever possible and they reflect the actual vehicle as it sat that day. We use stock manufacturer photography only when our own photos haven't been taken yet β and we mark those listings clearly. We don't edit out scratches or dings on real photos; what you see is what you get. Color rendering varies by screen.
No-sale obligation
Posting a vehicle on this site is not an offer to sell. A sale is binding only after both parties sign a written buyer's order. Until then either side can walk.
Communication
When you text or email us, you're consenting to a reply by the same channel. We'll never send you marketing texts you didn't separately ask for. Reply STOP to any text and you're permanently off β even reminders for service appointments. Full SMS terms on our SMS consent page.
Calculators and estimates
The payment, lease vs. buy, total cost-to-own, NY tax, and other calculators on this site are estimates. They use today's published rates and reasonable assumptions. Your actual numbers depend on your credit, the lender's offer, your zip code, and other variables. We'll quote you a binding number in writing before any contract is signed.
User content
If you leave a review, ask a question, or otherwise submit something, you're telling us we can repost it (with your name attached) on this site or on social media. We'll always remove your content if you ask us to.
Don't do this
- Scrape inventory programmatically without permission. Email us if you have a legitimate use case β we'll likely just give you an API.
- Submit fake credit applications.
- Try to reverse-engineer or break the site.
- Use the site to harass any of our staff.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided βas isβ and βas available.β We make no warranty that it'll be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information is current, complete, or accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall East Hills Chevrolet of Freeport, its owners, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages β including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption β arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to this site is limited to one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Dispute resolution
If we have a problem we'll try to work it out by talking. If we can't, you and we agree to first attempt resolution by good-faith written notice and a 30-day cure period. If the dispute remains unresolved, the matter shall be heard in the appropriate state or federal court located in Nassau County, New York, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. Consumer disputes governed by the New York Lemon Laws or other consumer-protection statutes are handled per those statutes β see our Lemon Law page.
Severability and assignment
If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. We may assign these terms in connection with a sale of the dealership; you may not assign your obligations without our written consent.
